Parking in Stratford-upon-Avon

There are a variety of carparks situated within walking distance of the town centre. For the full list and most up to date prices please visit the Town Council website.

For Blue Badge Holders (and holders of any other official disabled parking permits) and motorcycles, parking is free in all District Council car parks except Bridgefoot and Unicorn Meadow parks.

In an on-street parking bay, Badge Holders may park for free and for as long as they need to, unless there is a traffic sign specifying a time limit for disabled badge holders or the traffic sign states that the bay is for a specific use only. For example taxi rank or residents parking.

Park and Ride

The Stratford Park and Ride can be a great solution to parking in Stratford-upon-Avon. Some advantages of the Park and Ride include: Parking all day prices from £2.20, Buses every 10-15 minutes direct to Stratford town centre and attractions and a fully secure site with CCTV and supervisors always on site. It is advisable to check the current pricing and information about the Park and Ride before your trip. 

 

Getting around Stratford

The easiest way to get around the picturesque town of Stratford-upon-Avon is using your legs to take you in and out of the cobbled streets and find all the hidden gems. There are walking guides running through Stratford regularly. Find out more about the Stratford Town Walk.

If you are looking for a slightly quicker way to see as much as Stratford-upon-Avon can offer, you can use one of the Sightseeing Open Air Buses. These buses will take you through the sights, and on a sunny day in the open air you can soak up the atmosphere of the bards town.

 

Get your river legs!

Stratford-upon-Avon is the ideal place to get your river legs. You can hire rowing Boats, canoes, outboard motor boats and other vessels to enjoy the avon.
