Founded in 2008, The Bear Pit is a voluntary organisation which works to build a greater awareness of the performing and visual arts in the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Based in Rother Street at the rear of the United Reformed Church, The Bear Pit, working closely with its church partners, has made great strides in the creation of a 100 seater “little theatre” ideally suited to the performance of many aspects of theatre as well as providing an intimate space as a community arts
