BIRTHPLACE TRUST//SBT Research Conversations

Individually or in full, The Sonnets started being translated into Spanish at a relatively early stage after Shakespeare became known in Spain and its former colonies, and have remained favourites among readers and translators to date. This talk will centre around a present translator’s views on the need, challenges, and pleasures of rendering the Sonnets anew into an already existing tradition.

This talk will take place in The Wolfson Hall, The Shakespeare Centre, Henley Street, from 5 - 6pm

Free admission, no booking required, everyone is welcome.
