All Hail the Ale

Travel back in time to the 17th century and visit the Swan and Maidenhead Inn to find out how ale was brewed and why it was so important.

Finish your tour with a sampling session with Bob Yates from Tunnel Brewery, who will offer top tips and tasters on what treats go best with your drink of choice in our beautiful garden at Shakespeare’s Birthplace. From hand-crafted ales, traditional beers and a mulberry ale, see which tipple takes your fancy and sip away in our pop-up beer garden!

Children are allowed at this event but are not permitted to taste the ale!

Booking is essential. Book online or call 01789 201806.
