Covid 19 – Stratford Racecourse
Unfortunately we are still unable to allow the public entry to our race meetings. All ticket bookings made for July and August are in the process of being refunded.We continue to follow both the government and BHA guidelines and will monitor public access to future race meetings. Our first behind closed doors race meeting will be held on the 8th July 2020. We are then due to race again on the 21st July, 6th August and 19th August. Steeplechasing has taken place at Stratford Racecourse since 1755 and today are proud to be in the top flight of Britain's smaller courses. The first in the country to form a Racecourse Entertainments Committee, the racecourse is host to around fourteen meetings each year.
Stratford Racecourse is one of the country's leading small racecourses, with a reputation for excellent levels of prize-money. Racing takes place regularly between March and November, with many of the top jockeys riding here.
The Summer racedays attract family groups who can picnic in the centre of the course, making use of free admission for under 18's along with the free children's entertainment on afternoon weekend meetings during holiday time.
