The four members of Fred Zeppelin are real fans, and formed ‘The Freds’ out of their admiration and love of Led Zeppelin's music. John Bonham's son Jason also attended a gig and jammed with them on stage, a memorable night for both the band and audience. Roy Wood was another rock and roll celebrity to witness a two hour Fred Zeppelin gig. As their name suggests the band do not take themselves too seriously, they know the praise belongs to Robert, Jimmy, John Paul Jones, and Bonzo
