The lights display in Stratford over the Christmas period is considered to be one of the finest in the UK, presided over by a team of volunteers and funded by generous grants from the Town Trust and the Town Council and by individual donations from Businesses, the residents and the general public

HOWEVER, this year our grant from the Town Trust has been seriously reduced and, like most other companies in these times of recession, the Stratford Christmas Lights Company will be under considerable pressure to provide anything like the standard of displays visitors to Stratford are used to seeing for the 2010 Christmas period and it is likely that some streets will remain undecorated.
